Hainan Airlines boosts Russian routes

Hainan Airlines is increasing the number of flights it operates to Russia. From summer 2014, the Chinese carrier will boost the frequency of its flights from Beijing to both Moscow and St Petersburg from three to five per week. The Moscow route will be operated every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 15 June 2014, rising to daily during the 1 July-31 August peak season. The service to St Petersburg will run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. Hainan Airlines also operates flights from Beijing to the Russian cities of Irkutsk and Chita, and has interline agreements in place with Aeroflot and S7 Airlines.
