Join Tui China for an adventure in the ancient capital city of Xi'an! Explore its architectural wonders, from pagodas and mosques to the best preserved old city wall in China. Sail the magnificent Yangtze River on our modern ship fully equipped with communication facilities, restaurant, Chinese massage facilities, and shopping boutiques. All cabins and suites come with modern bath and toilet, along with large panoramic windows.

Travel Itinerary

  • Day 1:
    Beijing / Shanghai - Xi'an
    • Upon arrival, your tour guide will meet you at the airport..
    • After lunch, climb the Ming Dynasty City Wall and explore the former Confucius Temple. Today, it is the home of the Forest of Steles, a collection of Confucian texts and calligraphies engraved in stone tablets.
    • Stroll around muslim quater , where you will visit Great Mosque.
    • Time at leisure in the city center near the Bell tower.
    • Overnight in Xi'an
  • Day 2:
    Xi'an (B L) 　
    • In the morning, enjoy Xi'an's highlight, the army of Terracotta Warriors and the Bronze Chariots. They were built for China's first emperor in the 3rd century B.C. and are still remarkably well-preserved.
    • Visit the wonderful Big Wild Goose Pagoda, one of China's oldest buildings.
    • Overnight in Xi'an
  • Day 3:
    Xi'an-Chongqing (B L)
    • Breakfast at hotel
    • View an impressive and rich collection of relics from ancient China after breakfast.  Shannxi Provincial museum (closed on Mondays) is rated as one of the best in China.
    • After lunch, transfer to airport to take afternoon flight to Chongqing
    • Arrive Chongqing and transfer to pier .
    • Board cruise vessel
    • Cruise vessel leaves Chongqing around 22:00 pm
    • Overnight on board
  • Day 4:
    Yangtze Cruise (Downstream) (B L D)
    • Meet cruise director and get introduction of whole Yangtze river
    • After Lunch, have your first shore excursion in Zhong County and visit Stone Treasure Fortress.
    • Captain's Welcome Dinner in the evening, followed by a performance of dancing and singing by the crew.
    • Overnight on vessel
  • Day 5:
    Yangtze Cruise (Downstream) (B L D)
    • After breakfast, pass the Qutang Gorge, be followed by the mythical "Wu Gorge"
    • After lunch, am excursion to Shennong Stream.
    • Back to Vessel in the late afternoon, the ship enters the last of the gorges, "Xiling Gorge".
    • Overnight on vessel
  • Day 6:
    Yangtze (Downstream) - Yichang - Beijing / Shanghai (B L)
    • After breakfast, start your last shore excursion and visit the massive Three Gorges Dam. It is the largest hydro-power plant in the world.
    • Arrive in Yichang and disembark around noon.
    • Late afternoon have lunch in downtown Yichang, transfer to airport for your flight back to Beijing / Shanghai.
    • End of service
