Travel Itinerary

  • Day 1:
    (29-Sep-14) Beijing–Lijiang (L)
    • Take the flight from Beijing to Lijiang in the morning.
    • Suggested flight schedule  CA1469 Beijing–Lijiang 07:35-11:00         
    • Our tour guide will wait for you at the airport.
    • Transfer to Lijiang’s Ancient Town
    • Wander in Lijiang Ancient Town.
    • Visit Wangulou Pavilion and Dragon Pool Park
    • Enjoy the show of Impression of Lijiang ( Optional)
    • Overnight in Lijiang
  • Day 2:
    (30-Sep-14) Lijiang (B L)
    • Breakfast at hotel
    • Tour at Shuhe Old Town
    • Horse riding (2 and a half hour) at Lashi Lake in small group
    • Transfer back to hotel
    • Overnight in Lijiang
  • Day 3:
    (1-OCT-14) Lijiang –Liming (B L D)
    • Breakfast at hotel
    • Transfer to Liming
    • Hiking tour at Qianguishan Mountain (Mountain of a Thousand Turtles) where you will enjoy spectacular and multi-colored Danxia Landform.
    • Drive to hotel  
    • Overnight in Liming
  • Day 4:
    ( 2-OCT-14) Liming-Zhongdian(B L)
    • Breakfast at hotel
    • Stroll in the Local minority  village of Li Su
    • Then transfer to Zhongdian without guide
    • Meet your guide of Zhongdian  at hotel

  • Day 5:
    (3-OCT-14) Zhongdian (B L)
    • Popularized under the name of “Shangri-La”, Zhongdian attracts visitors seeking a glimpse of Tibet. The 300-year-old Songzanlin Monastery is built in the Tibetan style and is still home to many crimson-robed lamas.
    • Wathcing  hands-on pottery at Nixi Village

    • Visit Napa Lake Natural Reserve
    • Hiking tour from Jiantang hotel to Great Treasure Monastery
    • Overnight at Zhongdian
