TUI tourism promotion event was successfully held in Dujiangyan

"Let the world know Dujiangyan" TUI tourism promotion event was successfully held in Dujiangyan from November 19 to 20.

This event is sponsored by Dujiangyan Municipal People's Government, TUI China and undertaken by Dujiangyan Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau and Foreign Affairs Working Committee Office of CPC Dujiangyan Municipal Committee. 35 European and American travel agents from France, UK, Italy and Canada came to Dujiangyan for inspection, experiencing the high-quality travel routes of Dujiangyan, and participating in the tourism resource promotion event of Tianfu famous tourism county in Sichuan."Overseas Dujiangyan” Dutch Promotion Station" was also officially established in this event.

Dujiangyan set up overseas Dujiangyan promotion station in Europe through TUI Group's high-quality international marketing network to further expand Dujiangyan's international tourism market competitiveness. This meeting is another grand event of in-depth cooperation after the successful holding of Dujiangyan · TUI International Tourism Development Conference in 2018.

Dr. Guido Brettschneider, CEO of TUI China introduced that Dujiangyan had entered its second year of cooperation with TUI China; Dujiangyan's tourism resources were deeply favored by foreign friends; TUI China would try its best to promote Dujiangyan and sell Dujiangyan tourism products online and offline in Britain, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands.

On the afternoon of November 20, “ Let the world know Dujiangyan" TUI tourism promotion event and tourism resource promotion conference of Sichuan Tianfu Famous Tourism Counties was held in Dujiangyan. At the same time, also Tianfu famous tourism county photo exhibition and Dujiangyan’s characteristic tourism products exhibition were also held.

At the promotion conference, the representatives of the first ten Tianfu famous tourist counties made key promotions on their tourism resources. The representatives of international buyers and traveling salesmen also shared “Dujiangyan in my eyes” according to the two-day inspection.

Marcio Gentil, a tourism wholesaler from Brazil, said: “This event is a bond. Through our in-depth communication, we can bridge the cultural gap brought by distance. I will continue to promote Dujiangyan in Latin American market, hoping that more tourists will come to Dujiangyan and know about this beautiful and culturally rich city.”
