The recently released Global Attractions Attendance report ranked the top 20 museums in the world and four museums in China made it onto the list. The National Museum of China in Beijing was the third most visited museum in the world in 2013, coming in after the Louvre in Paris and the National Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC. The China Museum brought in 7.5 million visitors in 2013. The National Palace Museum in Taipei, Shanghai Science & Technology Museum and National Museum of Natural Science (Taipei) were also in the top 20 in the world.
