China will add more high-speed rail services this summer. The state-run China Railway Corp has said it will add more than 60 return passenger services for the coming high season, 53 of which will be operated by bullet trains. This will see the capacity of China's high-speed rail network rise 4% this summer. Routes seeing extra services will include lines from Beijing to Shanghai, Guangzhou and Harbin, plus a new service linking Chengdu and Chongqing in southwest China with cities including Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Xiamen, Fuzhou and Wuhan.
