Xi'an's world famous Terracotta Warriors and the beautiful landscape of Guilin's karst hills - Enjoy China's best known sights during this short escape from your daily routine.

Travel Itinerary

  • Day 1:
    Beijing / Shanghai - Xi'an (L) 　 City Wall, Forest of Steles, Bell Tower

    Flight to Xi'an in the morning.

    Your tour guide will meet you at the airport.

    After lunch, climb the Ming Dynasty City Wall to stroll on the Wall towards the former Confucius Temple. Today, it is the home of the Forest of Steles, a collection of Confucian texts and calligraphies engraved in stone tablets.

    Time at leisure in the city center near the Bell Tower.

    Enjoy the Tang Dynasty Dinner Show in the evening (optional).

    Overnight in Xi'an

  • Day 2:
    Xi'an -Guilin (B, L) 　 Terracotta Warriors, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Great Mosque

    In the morning, visit Xi'an's highlight, the army of Terracotta Warriors and the Bronze Chariots. They were built for China's first emperor in the 3 rd century B.C. and are splendidly preserved.

    After lunch see the Big Wild Goose Pagoda built in the Tang Dynasty and stroll in Xi'an's Muslim quarter, where you also visit the unique mosque.

    Take flight to Guilin in the evening.

    Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.

  • Day 3:
    Guilin - Yangshuo (B, L) 　 Li River Cruise

    After breakfast, start the cruise through the breathtaking scenery along the Li River. The steep hills are reflected in the clear water of the river that winds between the peaks. Fishermen with cormorants float by on their bamboo rafts.

    Arrival in Yangshuo in the afternoon and time to stroll the charming small market town.

    Overnight in Yangshuo

  • Day 4:
    Yangshuo - Guilin - Beijing / Shanghai (B, L) 　 Moon hill, fisher village, Reed Flute Cave, Solitary Beauty Peak

    In the morning, transfer back to Guilin.

    On the way, visit Moon hill and a local fishing village.

    After arrival in Guilin, explore the most extraordinary Reed Flute Cave, one of the biggest stalactite caves in Guilin.

    Afterwards you have time to climb the Solitary Beauty Peak right in the city center.

    Later in the afternoon, transfer to the airport and return flight.
