  • Attention: Kindly note that we stay in places up to 5,000 meters above sea level. Please ask your doctor for advice, if you think that you might suffer from the effects of altitude. However, you will have time to acclimatize. Trips to Tibet require adaptability, improvisation, and flexibility from all travelers.
  • Note also that meals in Tibet cannot match those of the cities in eastern and southern China.
  • Road conditions in Tibet have improved remarkably, although they are still not comparable to well developed areas.
  • Potala Palace get a limitation 2300 person per day to protect the Historical Heritage. The sequences of sightseeing supposed to be adjusting according to the situation of entrance permission. And meanwhile all of tour guides get a limitation of their explanation and interpretation inside Potala Palace.
  • The Local travel agency will promise that you can visit Potala Palace during your stay in Tibet, but we cannot guarantee to buy certain time and date which clients asked or requested.
  • In Tibet, tourist vehicle are not installed with Air-Condition as AC consumes gas, which is not good to environment.

Travel Itinerary

  • Day 1:
    Beijing/Shanghai - Lhasa
    • Flight from Beijing/Shanghai to Lhasa.
    • Arrival in Lhasa, your guide will meet you at the airport or train station upon arrival.
    • Transfer from the airport or train station to Lhasa City.
    • Time to relax and acclimatize after Lunch.
    • Overnight in Lhasa
  • Day 2:
    Lhasa (B, L)
    • After breakfast, guided sightseeing with the Lhasa’s cardinal landmark-Potala Palace. This massive 13-soreyed building used to be the highest building prior to the early period of last century, used to be the former winter abode for the Dalai Lamas. It looks incredibly magnificent from a distance and could be viewed from various places around the town. As the nation’s supreme relic, the palace dates back to 7th century A.D.
    • In the afternoon, visit of Sera Monastery, which was founded in 1419 by Sakya Yeshe, a disciple of Tsongkhapa. The “Buddhism Scriptures Debating” in Sera is very famous.
    • Overnight in Lhasa
  • Day 3:
    Lhasa (B, L)
    • After breakfast guided sightseeing of the most revered religious structure in Tibet-Jokhang Temple. Jokhang, the most sacred temple in Tibet, refers to “Buddha’s House” in Tibetan language because the main statue enshrined is said to be made by Buddha Sakyamuni himself in his lifetime. Jokhang Temple is the convergence of Tibet’s Spiritual and secular life, like Mecca for the Muslims, here you can meet all the tribes from Tibetan plateau.
    • The surrounding market is called Barkhor, one of the most important religious paths, which also assembles people for shopping.
    • In the afternoon, visit of Norbulingkha, the summer palace of the Dalailama.
    • Overnight in Lhasa
  • Day 4:
    Lhasa - Xining(B)
    • Transfer to train station for the train to Xining
    • overnigh on the train
  • Day 5:
    Xining-Beijing/Shanghai
    • Arrive in Xining train staion and meet your guide.
    • transfer to airport for the flight back to Beijing/Shanhgai
