This particular event is an essential component of the West Lake International Exposition and this year is themed on ‘Meet Grand Canal, Enjoy Typical Hangzhou’. Nine venues have been set up for the event which are Yun He Tian Di (Grand Canal World), Grand Canal Cultural Square, Qiaoxi Historic Block, Xiaohe Straight Street, Dadou Road Historic Block, Xiangji Temple, Fuyi Granary, Tangqi Ancient Town and West Lake Cultural Square. During the temple fair visitors will have the opportunity to witness its opening ceremony which is highlighted by the grand canal children’s folk rhymes, grand canal wedding ceremony, Qipao show: The Dowry of Mother, music concert: The Night of Grand Canal and Republic of China style show.
